What we offer:
In the winter semester 2024, the representatives for students with disabilities will offer an Open Consultation Hour together with the Counseling Office. This will take place once or twice a month via Zoom. In addition to the possibility of consultation regarding questions of study organization, compensation for disadvantages and concrete support offers, you should also have the opportunity here to make comments on changes or improvements and development potentials towards a barrier-free university and a study for all.
Time: 9:30 to 11 a.m.

During open office hours, counselling is available via telephone with an appointment. Information, assistance and support are offered throughout the entire scholarship application phase.

ArbeiterKind is a German network that supports pupils and students from non-academic backgrounds on their way to university and during their studies.
The Munich local group meets every first Thursday of the month for a virtual exchange - interested parties are welcome.
If you would like to participate in the exchange meeting or have any questions, please contact the Munich chapter via email or Instagram.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays during the current semester, the LMUchemlab offers students from the 8th grade onwards learning conditions that allow free experimentation linked to the current curriculum. In the context of independent research-based learning, the student lab is based on cooperation, inclusion and language sensitivity, with participants supported by learning aids and working with tablets.
The LMUchemlab includes:

The Central University Sports Centre of the City of Munich offers this course, which is open to all students and staff of Munich's state universities with their ZHS card. Wheelchair basketball is a Paralympic sport for the disabled. Athletes with and without physical disabilities play in a team. Basically, the rules of classic basketball apply and are only slightly adapted to the needs of wheelchair users.

Application deadline for a leave of absence:
Students who are prevented from studying properly for important reasons can generally be granted a leave of absence for up to six semesters. A leave of absence must be applied for separately for each semester and submitted within the following application deadlines:
